Salmon Patties with Dill Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 3 cans - boneless, skinless salmon DO NOT drain
  2. 1 - large egg slightly beaten
  3. 1/2 cups - seasoned bread crumbs
  4. 1/4 cups - onions finely chopped
  5. 1/4 cups - celery finely chopped
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  7. 1/4 cups - mayonnaise
  8. 1/4 cups - sour cream or plain yogurt
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - dill weed
  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons - lemon juice

  14. 1/4 cups - onions finely chopped
  15. 1/4 cups - celery finely chopped
  16. 1/2 teaspoons - baking powder
  17. 1/4 cups - mayonnaise
  18. 1/4 cups - sour cream or plain yogurt
  19. 1/2 teaspoons - dill weed
  20. 1 1/2 teaspoons - lemon juice

Directions:

1.) Drain salmon and set juice aside for later. Flake salmon with a fork and combine with celery, onion, bread crumbs and baking powder.

2.) Add egg and enough salmon juice to hold mixture together, but not be too wet.

3.) Butter non-stick pan and bake patties approximately 4 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

For the sauce:

Combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, dill weed and lemon juice in a small bowl. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
