Ingredients:
- 5 pounds - potatoes peeled & cubed
- 5 tablespoons - Butter divided
- 1 - (8 oz.) Cream cheese cubed
- 1 cups - Sour Cream
- 2 teaspoons - Onion salt (or powder)
- 1/4 teaspoons - Garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoons - pepper
- - Milk as needed
Directions:
Cook potatoes in boiling salted water until very tender, about 20 mins;drain well. Mash with 3 T. butter. Add cream cheese, sour cream, onion salt, garlic powder & pepper; mix well. If too thick, add some milk. Spoon into greased 13"x9"x2" baking dish.
Melt remaining butter; drizzle over the top. Cover & freeze up to a month or bake. uncovered at 250 degrees F for 30-35 minutes or until heated through.
To use frozen potatoes: Thaw in refrigerator. Bake as directed.
