Restaurant Teriyaki Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cups - soy sauce
  2. 1 cups - water
  3. 1/2 teaspoons - ground ginger
  4. 1/4 teaspoons - garlic powder
  5. 5 tablespoons - packed brown sugar
  6. 1 tablespoons - honey or 2 tbsp, to taste
  7. 2 tablespoons - cornstarch
  8. 1/4 cups - cold water

Directions:

Mix all but cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water in a sauce pan and begin heating.

Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cup cold water in a cup and dissolve. Add to sauce in pan.

Heat until sauce thickens to desired thickness.

Add water to thin if you over-thicken it.
