Rosemary’s Fire Cider
This spicy warming concoction can be used straight up or added to salad dressings, baked beans or in any other recipe.
Ingredients:
1 quart organic apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup grated horseradish root
1/8 cup of chopped garlic
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup ginger
1 teaspoon cayenne powder (or any hot pepper of choice)
**Get creative and add any of the suggestions noted.
Directions:
Place all ingredients* in a quart sized jar (or a larger jar if you double recipe) and fill with apple cider vinegar. Cover tightly and let steep 6-8 weeks, occasionally shake when you remember. Strain and add honey to taste, if and as desired.
