Refrigerator Raisin Muffins

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - boiling water
  2. 2 cups - all-bran cereal
  3. 3 cups - white sugar
  4. 1 cups - shortening
  5. 4 - eggs
  6. 4 cups - buttermilk
  7. 3 tablespoons - baking soda
  8. 1 tablespoons - salt
  9. 5 cups - all-purpose flour
  10. 4 cups - bran flakes
  11. 2 cups - raisins
  12. 2 cups - boiling water
  13. 2 cups - all-bran cereal
  14. 3 cups - white sugar
  15. 1 cups - shortening
  16. 4 - eggs
  17. 4 cups - buttermilk
  18. 3 tablespoons - baking soda
  19. 1 tablespoons - salt
  20. 5 cups - all-purpose flour
  21. 4 cups - bran flakes
  22. 2 cups - raisins

Directions:

1. Pout boiling water over the all-bran; let stand.
2. Cream sugar, shortening and eggs. Add buttermilk, then the all-bran mixture.
3. Add dry ingredients, except for the bran flakes, and mix well. Fold in bran flakes and raisins.
4. Do not bake the first day.
5. Bake at 400°F for 15-20 minutes. Batter can be refrigerated for several weeks.
