Red Chile Sauce

Ingredients:

  1. 3 cloves - garlic minced
  2. 2 - medium onions chopped
  3. 2 ounces - olive oil
  4. 4 ounces - tomato paste
  5. 3 cans - whole tomatoes 27 oz. each
  6. 2 tablespoons - parsley heaping tbsp
  7. 2 teaspoons - cayenne heaping tsp
  8. 2 tablespoons - garlic salt heaping tbsp
  9. 1 teaspoons - onion powder heaping tsp
  10. 4 tablespoons - mild chile powder
  11. 1 tablespoons - cumin
  12. 1 teaspoons - sugar

Directions:

In a large pot, saute garlic and onion in oil until onion is transparent. Add tomato paste and stir constantly for about 5 minutes.

Add whole tomatoes and all seasonings; blend well (using a hand mixer or blending stick).

Cover and simmer 45 minutes.
