Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups - Sugar
- 3/4 cups - Shortening
- 2 - Eggs
- 3/4 cups - Coffee Cold
- 3/4 cups - Raw apple Cubed
- 3/4 cups - Raisin
- 2 1/2 cups - Flour
- 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
- 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoons - Clove
- 1/2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons - Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoons - Vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups - Sugar
- 3/4 cups - Shortening
- 2 - Eggs
- 3/4 cups - Coffee Cold
- 3/4 cups - Raw apple Cubed
- 3/4 cups - Raisin
- 2 1/2 cups - Flour
- 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
- 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoons - Clove
- 1/2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoons - Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoons - Vanilla
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs beat; combine dry ingredients Add raisins, apples, coffee and vanilla. Add dry ingredients slowly. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Baked in 350 oven for 40 min. Toothpick inserted should come out clean and dry.
Frosting: 1/2 butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cups milk, bring to a boil. Remove from heat cool until Luke warm add 2 cups powdered sugar. Beat until spreading consistency. Spread on cooled cake.
