Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/2 cups - Sugar
  2. 3/4 cups - Shortening
  3. 2 - Eggs
  4. 3/4 cups - Coffee Cold
  5. 3/4 cups - Raw apple Cubed
  6. 3/4 cups - Raisin
  7. 2 1/2 cups - Flour
  8. 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
  9. 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - Clove
  11. 1/2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  12. 1/2 teaspoons - Nutmeg
  13. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla
  14. 1 1/2 cups - Sugar
  15. 3/4 cups - Shortening
  16. 2 - Eggs
  17. 3/4 cups - Coffee Cold
  18. 3/4 cups - Raw apple Cubed
  19. 3/4 cups - Raisin
  20. 2 1/2 cups - Flour
  21. 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
  22. 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
  23. 1/2 teaspoons - Clove
  24. 1/2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  25. 1/2 teaspoons - Nutmeg
  26. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla

Directions:

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs beat; combine dry ingredients Add raisins, apples, coffee and vanilla. Add dry ingredients slowly. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Baked in 350 oven for 40 min. Toothpick inserted should come out clean and dry.
Frosting: 1/2 butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cups milk, bring to a boil. Remove from heat cool until Luke warm add 2 cups powdered sugar. Beat until spreading consistency. Spread on cooled cake.
