Rainbow Four-Layer Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 1 boxes - white cake mix not yellow
  2. - Eggs per cake mix instructions
  3. - Vegetable Oil per cake mix instructions
  4. 4 boxes - Jell-O Gelatin Mix any flavors except grape
  5. 2 cans - 160z frosting any color or flavor
  6. 1 boxes - white cake mix not yellow
  7. - Eggs per cake mix instructions
  8. - Vegetable Oil per cake mix instructions
  9. 4 boxes - Jell-O Gelatin Mix any flavors except grape
  10. 2 cans - 160z frosting any color or flavor

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Prepare cake mix according to instructions on the box
3. Divide batter into four bowls, roughly one cup each
4. Mix 1 tablespoon Jell-O powder into each bowl, one color per bowl. Stir until blended.
5. Pour batter into greased and floured round cake pans of equal size, one color per pan.
6. Bake about 15 minutes, until cake springs back when lightly touched in center
7. Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pans
8. When cakes are completely cool, spread frosting between layers and stack in the order you want the colors
9. Frost the outside and serve
