Quick Spinach Sausage Quiche

Ingredients:

  1. 1 tablespoons - butter
  2. 1 3/4 cups - sliced mushrooms
  3. 1 packages - 12 oz. frozen spinach souffle thawed
  4. 1/2 pounds - sweet Italian sausages casings removed, cooked and crumbled
  5. 3/4 cups - shredded Swiss cheese
  6. 2 - eggs beaten to blend
  7. 3 tablespoons - milk
  8. 1 - baked 9-inch deep-dish pie crust

Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Melt butter in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add mushrooms and cook until softened, stirring occasionally, about 7 minutes. Remove from heat.

Mix in spinach souffle, sausage, cheese, eggs and milk. Spoon into crust.

Bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 30 to 35 minutes. (Wrap edges of crust in foil if browning too quickly).

Let quiche stand at room temperature 5 to 10 minutes to firm before serving.
