Quick and Easy Pizza Crust

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 oz - active dry yeast quick rise
  2. 1 tsp - white sugar
  3. 1 cup - warm water (110°F / 45°C)
  4. 2 1/2 cups - bread flour can use all purpose flour
  5. 2 Tbsp - olive oil
  6. 1 tsp - salt
  7. 1/4 oz - active dry yeast quick rise

  9. 1 cup - warm water (110°F / 45°C)

  11. 2 Tbsp - olive oil
  12. 1 tsp - salt

Directions:

• In a medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water

• Let stand until creamy (about 10 minutes)

• Stir in flour, salt, and oil

• Beat until smooth

• Let rest approximately 10 minutes

• Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface and pat or roll until round

• Transfer crust to a lightly greased pizza pan or baker’s peel dusted with cornmeal

At this point, the dough is complete. Add toppings to complete pizza and bake 15-20 minutes at 450°F (230°C). Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
