Quiche Lorraine

Ingredients:

  1. 1 - Hy-Vee frozen pie shell (9-inch)
  2. 8 slices - pre-cooked bacon crumbled
  3. 1 cups - shredded Swiss cheese
  4. 6 - eggs
  5. 1 1/4 cups - half-and-half OR milk
  6. 1/2 tablespoons - salt
  7. 1/8 tablespoons - ground nutmeg
  8. 1/8 tablespoons - pepper

Directions:

Prick bottom and sides of pie shell with a fork. Bake according to package directions. Remove from oven, cool.

Sprinkle bacon and cheese into pie shell.

Beat together remaining ingredients until well blended; pour into pie crust.

Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 375 degrees F. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
