I usually substitute cheddar for swiss cheese, but both work great. And sometimes I use dried onion rather than fresh. Also substituting evaporated milk or regular milk for the whipping cream can work in a pinch.

Ingredients:
- 1 whole - Pie Crust
- 1 1/2 cups - Broccoli
- 3 slices - Bacon (or dried beef)
- 1 cups - Swiss Cheese
- 1/3 cups - Onion
- 6 whole - Eggs
- 2/3 cups - Whipping Cream
- 3/4 teaspoons - Salt
- 1/4 teaspoons - Sugar
- 1/8 teaspoons - Cayenne Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons - Garlic Salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Cook broccoli; drain and place on pie crust. Sprinkle with garlic salt. Sprinkle or spread over top: bacon, Swiss cheese, and onion.
Beat the eggs, whipping cream, salt, sugar, and cayenne pepper together; pour into pie plate.
Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce oven to 300, and bake for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
