Some people in the family use 1/2 the spices recommended on the back of the pumpkin pack can. Others use all. Mary Hoover used to put the spices on the top so the pie remained a nice orange color instead of muted orange. In fact, I think she just used cinnamon and a thick layer of it on top. It is whatever is your preference.

Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups - Sugar
- 1 tablespoons - Flour
- 1 1/2 cups - Pumpkin
- 1 1/2 cups - Evaporated milk
- 1 - Egg
- 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
- - Cinnamon
- 1 - Unbaked pie shell
- 3/4 cups - Sugar
- 1 tablespoons - Flour
- 1 1/2 cups - Pumpkin
- 1 1/2 cups - Evaporated milk
- 1 - Egg
- 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
- - Cinnamon
- 1 - Unbaked pie shell
Directions:
Mix ingredients well. Put into a blender and blend until the pumpkin pieces are no longer visible. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and sprinkle with cinnamon. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Turn to 350° for additional 30-35 minutes.
