This recipe was passed down from my mother years ago, which she originally obtained from the Libby's label. It has become a favorite for us during the holidays and has been part of our family for as long as I can remember.

Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups - sugar
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 2 teaspoons - ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoons - ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoons - ground cloves
- 4 - large eggs
- 1 cans - 29 oz. Libby's pure pumpkin
- 2 cans - evaporated milk
- 2 - unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shells
Directions:
*May substitute 3-1/2 teaspoons of pumpkin pie spice in place of the cinnamon, ginger and cloves; however, taste will be slightly different.
Mix together the sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a small bowl.
Beat eggs in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture.
Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shells.
Bake in preheated 425 degrees F oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F and bake for 40 to 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
