Pumpkin Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - Sugar
  2. 4 whole - Eggs
  3. 1 cups - Vegetable Oil
  4. 2 cups - Flour
  5. 2 teaspoons - Baking Soda
  6. 2 teaspoons - Cinnamon
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  8. 2 cups - Canned Pumpkin
  9. 1 packages - Cream Cheese (3 oz.)
  10. 1 sticks - Butter
  11. 2 cups - Powdered Sugar
  12. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla

Directions:

Beat sugar and eggs until light and well blended. Add oil and continue to beat. Combine dry ingredients and blend into egg mixture. Add pumpkin and mix well. Pour into well greased 9" tube pan. Bake at 350° for 55 minutes or until cake tests done. Let cake stand in pan 10 minutes then turn out on rack to cool.

Icing:
Combine cream cheese and butter. Add sugar and vanilla. Beat until very smooth. Tint orange if desired. Drizzle over cake and serve.
