Just A Pinch Recipes: You spread the cream cheese frosting over it while it’s still hot, so the frosting melts and seeps into the cake, making it a little gooey and dense.

Ingredients:
- 2 cups - all purpose flour
- 2 cups - sugar
- 2 whole - eggs
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 20 ounces - can of crushed pineapple ( undrained )
- 1 cups - chopped nuts optional
- 1 sticks - butter
- 8 ounces - cream cheese softened
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups - confectioners' sugar
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Mix everything in a bowl with a fork. Pour into a greased 9X13 inch pan and bake at 350 for 35 - 40 minutes (until top is golden brown).
2. Frosting: Beat butter, cream cheese and vanilla together until creamy. Gradually mix in powdered sugar.
3. Frost cake with cream cheese frosting while still warm. Sprinkle with chopped nuts if desired.
4. Enjoy!
