Pound Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 sticks - butter or margarine
  2. 2 cups - sugar
  3. 5 - large eggs
  4. 2 cups - plain flour
  5. 1 teaspoons - vanilla OR lemon extract as preferred

Directions:

Cream together sugar and butter really well. Add eggs one at a time, creaming well after each addition.

Add flour last along with your chosen flavoring (vanilla or lemon or other).

Pour into greased and floured tube or Bundt pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour or until done.
