Ingredients:

  1. 3 pounds - chicken breast
  2. 2 tablespoons - corn starch
  3. 2 tablespoons - butter
  4. 2 cups - milk
  5. - salt, to taste
  6. - white pepper (important to use white for flavor profile), to taste
  7. 1/2 tablespoons - paprika
  8. - biscuits or rice, for serving with

Directions:

1. Boil chicken, let it cool and shred. Set aside.

2. On medium/high heat, combine 1-3/4 cup of the milk, 1 Tablespoon of the cornstarch, butter, and salt and pepper, to taste.

3. While continuously stirring, bring the mixture to a boil.

4. In a separate bowl, add the remaining tablespoon of cornstarch to the remaining 1/4 cup of milk and whisk together to combine until there are no lumps.

5. Add cornstarch and milk mixture with the shredded chicken to boiling mixture. Combine.

6. Reduce heat to medium. Stirring occasionally, cook until the mixture becomes thick and coats all of the chicken, about 15-20 minutes.

7. Remove from heat, add paprika (should become a pinkish red color). Stir to combine.

8. Serve immediately with biscuits or rice.

9. Enjoy.
