*Skip the swine and add more veg or tofu to this dish if you'd like for a hearty vegetarian option! I think zucchini, broccoli, little mini-corns, water chestnuts, edamame, or thinly sliced carrots are all wonderful additions in this dish.

  10. 1 teaspoons - rice wine, dry sherry or vermouth (rice wine is in Asian food aisle, it is NOT rice vinegar)
  11. 1/8 teaspoons - white pepper

  18. 1 teaspoons - reduced sodium soy sauce
  19. 1 tablespoons - toasted sesame seeds
  20. 1 packages - Japanese udon, Chinese lo mein or fettuccine noodles 10 oz package

Directions:

Straight Away...
Fill a large pan with water and bring to a boil (you can use pre-boiled water from a kettle to reduce time)... we are prepping the water so you can quickly cook your noodles later.
CHOP EVERYTHING!!!
Chop the pork & marinate it with a tablespoon of soy sauce until your ready to stir fry.
Next, CHOP cabbage, red pepper, green onion, garlic and ginger.... Get this done earlier in the day or quickly chop before you get started...

Make Your Sauce: In a small bowl, stir together all the sauce ingredients: rice vinegar, soy sauce, garlic black bean sauce, dark sesame oil, honey , Chinese 5-spice powder, rice wine & white pepper.

Let's Stir Fry!
Cook noodles according to package directions in your pot with pre-boiled water. Drain when finished... you'll be adding these to the stir fry pan/wok.

Heat a large pan or wok over medium heat, add 1 TBS EP canola oil, when shimmering add pork. Arrange pork in single layer, cook undisturbed for two minutes, then stir fry two minutes, until cooked through. Remove from pan.

Add remaining 1 TBS oil to pan, when oil is shimmering add cabbage, red bell pepper, green onion, garlic, ginger and soy sauce. Stir fry for 5 minutes until veggies are cooked to your liking (I like mine still a bit crunchy).
Add pork, toasted sesame seeds and your cooked noodles, stir fry for 1 minute.
Stir in the sauce and stir fry for 1 minute.
Plate it up, get it on the table, relax and ENJOY!!!
