Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 14 cups - Popped Popcorn
- 2 teaspoons - Salt
- 2 cups - Sugar
- 1/2 cups - Butter
- 2/3 cups - Water
- 2 teaspoons - Vanilla
- 2/3 cups - Light Corn Syrup
- 50 drops - Orange Food Coloring
- 36 bags - Clear Plastic Sandwich Bags
Directions:
Put popped popcorn in a large bowl; set aside.
Mix sugar, water, salt, enough food coloring to make a brilliant orange, and butter in a saucepan. Cook to 250 degrees or until a few drops form a hard ball when dropped in cold water. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour in a thin stream over the corn, stirring constantly to mix well.
With buttered hands, shape into balls approximately 3 inches in diameter. Place each ball in a plastic sandwich bag.
