Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

  1. 1 1/3 cups - warm water
  2. 1 packages - yeast
  3. 2 teaspoons - salt
  4. 2 tablespoons - salad oil
  5. 2 tablespoons - honey
  6. 4 1/3 cups - all-purpose flour

Directions:

Dissolve yeast in water; set aside for 15 minutes.

Combine 4 cups of flour, salt, honey, and salad oil in a large bowl.

Add yeast water, stirring until thick. Continue to mix with your hands.

Using remaining 1/3 cup of flour (small amounts at a time), knead dough on tabletop for 8 to 10 minutes (it should be smooth and in a ball).

Clean the bowl with warm water, and dry. Add small amount of salad oil to coat; place dough in bowl, turning to coat dough in oil.

Cover and let rise 1-1/2 hours -- either on stove top or in oven (warmed to 170 degrees F and then turned off).
