Notes:
Every Christmas Eve my brother-in-law makes this cheese ball. Our Christmas celebrations would be incomplete without it. It has been a family tradition now for at least 30 years.

Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 2 packages - 8 oz. cream cheese softened
- 1 cans - 8.5 oz. crushed pineapple well-drained
- 2 cups - chopped pecans divided
- 1/4 cups - green onions chopped
- 1 tablespoons - seasoned salt
- 1/4 cups - chopped red or green peppers optional
Directions:
In a large bowl, mash the cream cheese. Add half of the chopped pecans along with the remaining ingredients. Mix well.
Shape into a ball; roll the ball in the remaining chopped pecans. Wrap in foil and refrigerate.
(I omit the green or red peppers, but the original recipe called for them).
