Peppery Chicken

  1. 4 - chicken breasts skinless, boneless
  2. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  3. 1/4 teaspoons - freshly ground black pepper
  4. 2 cups - mushrooms sliced
  5. 3/4 cups - dry white wine
  6. 2 tablespoons - parsley chopped
  7. 1/4 teaspoons - crushed hot red pepper flakes optional
  8. 4 - lemon wedges for garnish


Season chicken with salt and black pepper. Place chicken in the bottom of the 12" Gourmet Skillet (Item #3239). Cover with mushrooms, wine, 1 tablespoon of parsley, and red pepper flakes. Cover, turn heat to medium. Wait for 'Whistle"; close valve and turn heat to low for about 30 minutes. Spoon chicken mixture on serving plates. Sprinkle with remaining parsley. Garnish with lemon wedges. Serve immediately.
