Ingredients:
- 1 cups - butter
- 1/3 cups - sugar
- 2 teaspoons - water
- 2 teaspoons - vanilla
- 2 cups - flour
- 1 cups - pecans
Directions:
Mix together butter, sugar, water and vanilla. Add flour; mix well.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Roll in powdered sugar after baking.
ALTERNATIVE:
Modify the recipe by increasing sugar from 1/3 cup to 1/2 cup, increasing water from 2 teaspoons to 2 tablespoons, and eliminating vanilla, if desired.
