Pear Pie

Ingredients:

  1. - crusts for a 2-crust pie
  2. 1/2 cups - sugar
  3. 3 tablespoons - flour
  4. 1 teaspoons - cinnamon
  5. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  6. 5 - to 6 medium pears sliced
  7. 1 tablespoons - margarine
  8. 1 teaspoons - lemon zest
  9. 1 tablespoons - lemon juice
  10. 1 1/2 cups - canned pears drained
  11. 1/2 cups - sugar
  12. 3 tablespoons - flour

Directions:

Stir together all ingredients for filling (depending on whether using canned or fresh pears).

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Line pie pan with one crust and top with filling. Top with second crust and crimp the edges.

Bake for 30 minutes.
