Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - Light corn syrup For filling
- 1/3 cups - Sugar For filling
- 1 tablespoons - Cornstarch For filling
- 1 1/2 cups - Fresh or frozen cranberries For filling
- 2 whole - Medium pears Unpeeled & sliced - For filling
- 3/4 cups - All-purpose flour For topping
- 1/2 cups - Sugar For topping
- 1/3 cups - Margarine or butter (5 1/3 T.) For topping
- 1 cups - Quaker Oats (quick or old-fashioned) Uncooked - For topping
- 1 whole - Egg Slightly beaten
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400. Grease a 9-inch square or round baking pan.
2. For filling, in medium saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar and cornstarch, mixing well. Stir in cranberries.
3. Heat to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer 5 min. or until cranberries pop open.
4. Stir in pears. Pour into prepared pan.
5. For topping, combine flour and sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
6. Stir in oats; mix well. Add egg, mixing until moistened. Crumble evenly over fruit.
7. Bake 30-35 min. or until top is golden brown.
