Peanut Butter Blossoms

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - Crisco Butter Flavor All-Vegetable shortening
  2. 1/2 cups - Creamy peanut butter
  3. 1/2 cups - Firmly packed brown sugar
  4. 1/2 cups - Granulated sugar
  5. 1 whole - Large egg
  6. 2 tablespoons - Milk
  7. 1 teaspoons - Vanilla extract
  8. 1 3/4 cups - All-purpose flour
  9. 1 teaspoons - Baking soda
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  11. - Sugar
  12. 48 - Milk chocolate Hershey's Kisses Unwrapped

Directions:

HEAT oven to 375 deg. Cream together shortening, peanut butter, brown sugar and 1/2 C sugar. Add egg, mil & vanilla. Beat well.

STIR together flour, baking soda & salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat on low speed until stiff dough forms. Shape into 1-in balls. Roll in sugar. Place 2 in. apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

BAKE for 10-12 min or until golden brown. Top each cookie immediately w/ an unwrapped Kiss, pressing down firmly so that cookie cracks around edge. Remove from cookie sheet to cool.
