Number of Servings:
Ingredients:
- 1 cups - brown sugar
- 4 teaspoons - cornstarch
- 6 cups - sliced fresh peaches
- 1/2 cups - milk
- 3 tablespoons - sugar
- 2 cups - Bisquick
- 1 teaspoons - lemon rind or peel
Directions:
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in saucepan. Add peaches and toss to coat. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until boiling and thick. Reduce heat and cook 2 minutes longer; set aside.
Combine Bisquick, sugar, and lemon rind. Add milk. Stir with fork until moistened. Return peaches to a boil. Pour into 2-quart baking dish. Drop batter on top.
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes (may need to cover with aluminum foil for the last 5-10 minutes to prevent from browning too much).
