Ingredients:
- 1/4 cups - flour
- 1/4 cups - oil or skimmed grease
- 2 cups - broth or pan drippings
Directions:
In small saucepan, mix together the flour and oil or skimmed grease (skimmed from top of pan broth) over medium heat. Gradually whisk in 2 cups of broth or pan drippings (strained); add water, if needed, to have 2 cups total liquid.
Continue to whisk/stir over medium-low heat until smooth and thickened. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
