Overnight Bacon and Brie Strata

Ingredients:

  1. 6 slices - sourdough bread torn into large pieces
  2. 7 ounces - Brie cheese cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  3. 8 slices - bacon cooked, crumbled
  4. 8 - eggs
  5. 3 cups - whole milk
  6. 2 tablespoons - Dijon mustard
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  8. 1/2 teaspoons - crushed red pepper
  9. 1/3 cups - chopped parsley

Directions:

1. Lightly grease a 13-x-9-inch baking dish. Place bread, Brie and bacon in pan and toss evenly until mixed.

2. Whisk together eggs, milk, mustard, salt and crushed red pepper. Pour over bread mixture. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.

3. Remove pan from refrigerator. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

4. Place pan in oven and bake 50-60 minutes, until center is set. Sprinkle with parsley and slice into squares. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
