Oven Roasted Chili Chickpeas

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cans - checkpeas (15 1/2 oz)
  2. 2 teaspoons - garlic salt
  3. 1 teaspoons - chili powder
  4. 1 teaspoons - lemon zest

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

2. Spread the chickpeas in a jelly roll pan. Roast the chickpeas, shaking the pan occasionally, until the begin to brown, about 20 minutes. Let cool about 5 minutes.

3. Lightly spray the chickpeas with olive oil nonstick spray. Sprinkle evenly with the garlic salt, chili powder, and lemon zest, shaking the pan to coat evenly. Transfer the chickpeas to a serving bowl. You can also make large batches and store them in a cover mason jar so that they are easily accessible.
