Onion Soup

  1. 4 - large onions peeled, thinly sliced
  2. 2 cups - chicken bone broth
  3. 2 cups - beef bone broth
  4. 4 tablespoons - ghee
  5. 5 cloves - garlic chopped
  6. - goat cheese optional, for topping


In a large pot over medium heat, melt ghee and cook thinly sliced onions until lightly caramelized.

Add bone broths and garlic. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bring mixture to a boil and then reduce heat; allow to simmer for 30 to 50 minutes (the longer it simmers, the more flavor it has).
