Olive Cheese Bread

  1. 1 loaves - french bread
  2. 8 ounces - pimiento-stuffed green olives
  3. 8 ounces - black olives
  4. 2 stalks - green onions (scallions)
  5. 1 sticks - butter at room temperature
  6. 1/2 cups - mayonnaise
  7. 1 pounds - monterey jack cheese grated


Roughly chop both black olives and pimiento-stuffed green olives. Slice green onions into thin pieces.

Combine butter, mayonnaise, cheese, olives and green onions in mixing bowl; stir until thoroughly combined.

Spread mixture onto French bread that has been sliced lengthwise. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and browning.

Cheese and olive mixture can also be refrigerated up to two days and used as a dip with crackers or vegetables.
