    Sunflower seeds or Raw almonds can be substituted for cashews. Serve over steamed veggies or cooked whole grains. Leftovers can be used as a dip for raw veggies.

Ingredients:

  1. 1/4 cups - Raw Cashews
  2. 2 1/2 cups - water
  3. 3/4 cups - nutritional yeast
  4. 3 tablespoons - cornstarch
  5. 1 tablespoons - lemon juice
  6. 1 teaspoons - sea salt
  7. 1 1/2 teaspoons - garlic powder
  8. 1 teaspoons - onion powder
  9. 1/2 teaspoons - dry mustard
  10. 1/2 teaspoons - smoked paprika
  11. 1/2 teaspoons - turmeric powder
  12. 1/8 teaspoons - cayenne pepper
  13. 2 tablespoons - tahini
  14. 1 teaspoons - miso paste
  15. 1/8 teaspoons - black pepper

Directions:

Blend all ingredients together in a high powered blender till smooth. Pour into sauce pan and cook over low to medium heat stirring constantly till thickened. If you want a thinner consistency add water a little at a time.
