Ingredients:
- 1/2 cups - soft botter
- 1 1/3 cups - sugar
- 3 - eggs
- 2 cups - flour
- 1 teaspoons - baking powder
- 2 teaspoons - numeg
- 1/2 teaspoons - salt
- 1 cups - buttermilk (or sour milk)
- 6 tablespoons - butter
- 1/4 cups - light cream
- 1/2 cups - brown sugar
- 1/2 cups - coconut or chopped walnuts
Directions:
For Cake:
Mix together all of cake ingredients. Bake in greased 13 by 9 inch pan at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes.
For Topping:
Mix together butter, cream, brown sugar and coconut or walnuts. Bring to a boil and pour over hot cake. Bake for 5 minutes.
May serve with whipped cream.
