Norwegian Meatballs

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 pounds - Ground round steak
  2. 1/4 pounds - Veal
  3. 1/4 pounds - Pork
  4. 1 - Beaten egg
  5. 1/4 cups - Milk
  6. 1/2 cups - Bread crumbs
  7. 1/2 teaspoons - Salt
  8. - Pinch pepper
  9. - Pinch allspice
  10. 2 tablespoons - Drippings
  11. 1 tablespoons - Flour
  12. 1 tablespoons - Butter

Directions:

Season meats with salt, pepper, and allspice. Add milk, egg, bread crumbs; mix thoroughly. Form into small balls, brown quickly in hot drippings. Cover with water. Simmer for 1 hour. Thicken with 1T flour and 1T butter. Pour around meatballs. This makes 6 servings or 12 balls.
