Noodles Marmaduke

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 sticks - butter
  2. 1/4 cups - sliced onion
  3. 1 cloves - garlic minced
  4. 1/2 pounds - (OR 1 can) sliced mushrooms
  5. 1 pounds - ground chuck browned and drained
  6. 3 tablespoons - Burgundy
  7. 3 teaspoons - lemon juice (scant teaspoons)
  8. 1 cans - consomme
  9. - salt and pepper
  10. 2 cups - medium noodles partially cooked
  11. 1 cups - sour cream

Directions:

Sauté onion and garlic in butter; add meat, previously browned and drained.

Stir in burgundy, lemon juice, consommé, salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.

Stir in uncooked (I cook mine partially) noodles and mushrooms. Cook, covered, for 5 minutes or until noodles are tender.

Mix in sour cream. Heat rapidly but do not boil.
