Nana's Chocolate Sheet Cake

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cups - flour
  2. 2 cups - sugar
  3. 1/2 pounds - Oleo
  4. 4 tablespoons - cocoa
  5. 1 teaspoons - Mexican vanilla
  6. 1 cups - water
  7. 1/2 cups - buttermilk
  8. 2 - eggs beaten
  9. 1 teaspoons - baking soda
  10. 1 sticks - Oleo
  11. 4 tablespoons - cocoa
  12. 6 tablespoons - milk
  13. 1 boxes - powdered sugar
  14. 1 teaspoons - Mexican vanilla
  15. 2 cups - pecans chopped

Directions:

Mix flour & sugar in a bowl. In saucepan mix Oleo, cocoa & water & bring to a boil.
Pour over flour and sugar mixture. Add all ingredients to buttermilk, eggs, soda & vanilla.(1 tsp. cinnamon can be added if desired) Pour into shallow pan. (greased)
Bake 30 min @ 350°

Icing: 5 min. before cake is done, mix 1 stick Oleo, 4T. cocoa & 6T. milk. heat. Add 1 box podered suger, 1tsp & @ cups nuts. Spread on hot cake and let cool
