Ingredients:
- 1 cups - sugar
- 1 cups - water
- 1 teaspoons - simple syrup
- 2 ounces - San Pellegrino Sanbitter
- 1 ounces - fresh grapefruit juice
- - crushed ice
- - chilled soda water OR sparkling water
- - orange twist for garnish
Directions:
Make the simple syrup by combining the sugar and water in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until sugar has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature; then pour into a jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
To make individual drinks: Fill a white wine glass half full with crushed ice, and combine with simple syrup, Sanbitter, and grapefruit juice. Top with chilled soda or sparkling water and stir gently. Garnish with orange twist, if desired.
