Ingredients:
- 1 - baked pie shell
- 1 cups - pecans roasted, chopped
- 3 - eggs separated
- 1/2 cups - sugar
- 3 tablespoons - sugar
- 3 tablespoons - flour (level tablespoons)
- 3/4 cups - water
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 1 cans - sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.)
Directions:
Beat egg yolks with flour and 1/2 cup sugar. Add water, vanilla, and condensed milk. Cook over low heat until thick.
Add pecans. Cool. Pour into pie shell.
Beat egg whites until stiff. Gradually add 3 tablespoons sugar. Spread on pie and brown in oven until golden brown.
Refrigerate and serve cold.
