  1. 1 packages - penne, ziti or mostaccioli noodles
  2. 3 ounces - cream cheese
  3. 5 ounces - ricotta cheese
  4. 1/4 cups - parmesan cheese
  5. 1 1/2 pounds - ground beef or Italian sausage
  6. 28 ounces - spaghetti sauce
  7. 3/4 cups - cheddar
  8. 3/4 cups - mozzarella


Cook noodles according to package directions and drain. Stir cream cheese into noodles while they are still hot; then stir in ricotta and parmesan, too.
While noodles are cooking, brown the ground beef or sausage in a large skillet; drain off grease. Pour spaghetti sauce into skillet with browned meat, and reduce heat to medium-low.
In 9x13-inch lightly greased baking dish, put half of noodles and top with half of cheddar, half of beef, then half of mozzarella. Repeat layers, ending with mozzarella.
Bake at 400 degrees F for 25-30 minutes until top is lightly browned.
