Mongolian Beef

Ingredients:

  1. 2 pounds - pot/chuck roast
  2. 1/2 cups - soy sauce
  3. 1/4 cups - water
  4. 1/2 cups - dark brown sugar
  5. 3 cloves - garlic
  6. 2 teaspoons - ginger minced
  7. 4 - green onions
  8. 1 tablespoons - soy sauce
  9. 1 tablespoons - olive oil
  10. 2 tablespoons - cornstarch

Directions:

Combine beef, soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic and ginger in crockpot. Cook on low 8-10 hours. Remove and shred meat. Cover to keep hot.

In small saucepan, whisk 2 tbsp cornstarch with 4 tbsp water. Add 1/2 cup of crockpot juice and heat, whisking constantly. Once bubbly, pour into cooker and mix. Add some sauce over meat.
