Ingredients:
- 1 packages - Yeast
- 1/4 cups - Warm/hot water
- 1/4 cups - Sugar
- 1/4 cups - Lard
- 1 teaspoons - Salt
- 1 cups - Scalded milk
- 4 cups - Flour
Directions:
Oven: 375-400 degrees
1- Dissolve yeast in 1/4c warm water. Let stand 5 minutes.
2- Place in bowl: lard, sugar, and salt. Cream together. Add hot milk. Stir until lard is melted.
3- Stir in 2c flour. Add dissolved yeast mixture & beat well.
4- Add remaining flour. Mix thoroughly but do not knead.
5- Cover and refrigerate.
6- Roll dough in 12 inch circle, brush with melted butter. Cut into pie shaped pieces. Start at wide end and roll toward point. Brush tops with butter. Bake at 375 for 25 minutes. Makes 3 dozen rolls.
