Mile-High Meringue

Ingredients:

  1. 5 - Eggland's Best egg whites at room temperature
  2. 1/2 teaspoons - cream of tartar
  3. 10 tablespoons - Domino Granulated sugar
  4. 1 teaspoons - clear vanilla extract

Directions:

1. In a metal or glass bowl, beat egg whites at high speed with a mixer until frothy.

2. Add cream of tartar, and beat egg whites until soft peaks form.

3. Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating at high speed for 2 to 4 minutes or until stiff peaks form and sugar dissolves. Add vanilla, beating just until blended.
