Microwave Caramel Corn

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cups - brown sugar
  2. 1/2 cups - butter
  3. 1/4 cups - light corn syrup
  4. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - baking soda
  6. 1 teaspoons - vanilla
  7. 4 quarts - popped popcorn

Directions:

Combine sugar, butter, syrup and salt in 2-quart glass bowl. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until blended; add baking soda and vanilla. Place popcorn in large brown paper bag. Pour syrup over popcorn and roll top of bag tightly to close. Microwave on HIGH for 1-1/2 minutes. Shake and cook on HIGH for 1-1/2 minutes more. Pour onto flat surface, spread out and allow to cool.
