Mexican Wedding Cookies

Ingredients:

  1. 1/2 cups - powdered sugar
  2. 1 cups - butter softened
  3. 2 teaspoons - almond extract
  4. 1 teaspoons - vanilla extract
  5. 2 cups - flour
  6. 1/4 teaspoons - salt
  7. 1 cups - finely chopped or ground almonds or pecans optional

Directions:

• Preheat oven to 325.

• In a large bowl, beat powdered sugar, butter & extracts until light & fluffy.

• Stir in the flour, salt & nuts.

• Mix until dough forms.

• Shape into 1 inch balls, or crescents.

• Place on ungreased cookie sheet.

• Bake for 15-20 minutes.

• Watch closely until set but not brown.

• Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.

• Let cool completely & roll in sugar again.
