Ingredients:
- 1 pounds - lean ground beef
- 1 - onion chopped
- 1/2 teaspoons - garlic salt
- 8 ounces - tomato sauce
- 1 cups - sour cream
- 1 cups - cottage cheese
- 8 ounces - can chopped green chilies
- 1/2 pounds - Monterey Jack cheese grated
- 1 packages - tortilla chips 6 oz.
Directions:
Brown onion with ground beef. Add tomato sauce.
Combine in a bowl: sour cream, cottage cheese, and green chilies.
In 2-1/2 quart greased casserole dish, add ½ of the chips slightly crushed, ½ meat mixture, ½ sour cream mixture and ½ cheese. Repeat- save some tortilla chips for garnish. Mexican hot sauce can be added to tomato sauce or salsa to sour cream mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F until bubbly.
