Meatballs and Spaghetti

  1. 1 pounds - ground beef
  2. 1/2 cups - bread crumbs
  3. 1/2 cups - parmesan cheese
  4. 1 tablespoons - italian seasoning
  5. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  6. 1/2 teaspoons - pepper
  7. 1 - egg beaten
  8. - splash of milk
  9. 4 cups - spaghetti sauce
  10. - spaghetti noodles cooked


Combine beef with all other ingredients listed, except spaghetti noodles and sauce. Mix thoroughly by hand. Roll mixture into 1-1/2 inch balls (makes about 25) and place balls on baking sheet; place in freezer for 5 minutes to help balls stay together while cooking. In skillet, heat some olive oil until hot; add meatballs and cook until browned - about 5-7 minutes, turning after half that time. When meatballs are cooked most the way through, pour spaghetti sauce into skillet over meatballs, enough to cover. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles and sprinkle with parmesan cheese, if desired.
