Meal in a Bowl Soup

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pounds - diced beef or beef stew meat
  2. 1/2 cups - chopped onions
  3. 30 ounces - condensed beef broth
  4. 1 1/3 cups - water
  5. 10 ounces - frozen green peas, thawed
  6. 2 - large potatoes, peeled & cubed
  7. 1 cups - sliced fresh mushrooms
  8. 1 - large carrot, chopped
  9. 1 - small zucchini, sliced
  10. 1 1/2 teaspoons - dried basil, crushed
  11. 3/4 teaspoons - ground sage
  12. 1/2 teaspoons - salt
  13. 1/8 teaspoons - pepper

Directions:

In a large saucepan or Dutch oven cook beef and onion till meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off fat.

Stir in beef broth, water, peas, potatoes, mushrooms, carrot, zucchini, basil, sage, salt and pepper. Bring to boiling; reduce heat.

Cover and simmer about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
