Ingredients:
- 3/4 cups - butter
- 1 cups - sugar
- 2 - eggs
- 1 teaspoons - vanilla
- 2 squares - 1 oz. each unsweetened chocolate
- 1 cups - hot water
- 1 3/4 cups - flour
- 1 teaspoons - salt
- 1 teaspoons - baking soda
- 6 ounces - chocolate chips
- 1/2 cups - chopped nuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beating until creamy.
Microwave chocolate and hot water until the chocolate has melted. Cool. Combine with the creamed mixture.
Sift together flour, salt and baking soda. Mix into the chocolate mixture.
Pour into a 9-x-11-inch greased and floured pan. Sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts on top.
Bake for 45 minutes until done. Cool and then cut into squares.
